The problem
The clinic's three receptionists spent 5–6 hours a day on the phone handling appointment requests, cancellations, insurance-eligibility questions and reminder callbacks — leaving little time for in-person patients.

What we built
Thinkly built a natural-sounding AI voice agent that answers every inbound call 24/7, verifies patient identity, checks provider availability in the EMR, offers real time-slots and books the appointment while the caller is still on the line.
A companion workflow automation checks insurance eligibility against the payer API in the background, sends a confirmation SMS + email, and schedules two automated reminder touchpoints (24 hours and 2 hours pre-visit).
For no-shows, an automated recovery loop offers the next open slot in the same clinician's calendar within 15 minutes — recovering visits that used to fall off completely.
Every interaction is logged to the EMR with a full transcript so front-desk staff have a clean audit trail without any manual note-taking.
